			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ek was lanklaas so de moer in soos wat ek die afgelope ruk was. Ek HAAT slegte diens.. Ek HAAT mense wat ander gebruik en manipuleer en ek HAAT mense wat jok….  En soms trek ek dit net aan soos ‘n magneet. En waaragtig ontmoet ek mos slegste nagmerrie, in die vorm van ‘n motorhandelaar. Ek kan glad nie met hulle of oor hulle praat sonder om emosioneel te raak nie. Nou nie… ag jinne ek wil huil nie… meer ‘n wat die ^&amp;*@ gaan aan manier.</p>
<p>So koop ek mos vir myself ‘n nuwe motor vir my verjaarsdag hierdie jaar. Dit was tyd. Ek is nogal emosioneel betrokke by my voertuig en so geheet die vuurwa mos as Saartjie. Ek het besluit om haar te laat gaan oor ek elke dag deur Hillbrow ry werk toe een ek ry elke dag verby die plek waar hartseer se dwelms gaan haal het. Hy het soms met haar ook gery en ek het nie meer veilig gevoel nie. Noem my nou maar simpel, maar dis nou maar so.</p>
<p>Ieder geval… Na baie wik en week en pryse vergelyk en die diens planne vergelyk besluit ek toe op my eerste Franse nommertjie. Hulle spog met die eerste model wat in Suid Afrika vervaardig word.</p>
<p>Ag hel, ek is van dag een af spyt. Ek het die motor 24 Julie gaan afhaal al het die central locking nie gewerk nie, want hulle moes kwansuis net die sleutel vervang… Ek het twee weke na die afhaal die motor terug geneem en hier wag ek nog steeds vir die verdomde ryding. Hulle kan nie bevestig waarom dit nie werk nie en hulle weier om vir my ‘n nuwe een te gee.</p>
<p>Nou lees my vertoë dan vertel julle my of ek onredelik is – want ek is nou verby raadop. Ek wil nie meer die kar hê nie… Ek wil nie ‘n ander model of vervanging hê nie. Ek wil die koop kanselleer.</p>
<p><em>I would like to bring the following under your attention, as I am currently paying for finance on a new vehicle that is not in my possession.</em></p>
<p><em>I have taken ownership of the new Renault ***** – Registration number *** GP on Saturday the 24</em><sup><em>th</em></sup><em> of July 2010. Before I drove out of the dealership the Sales Representative (D*** T***) informed me that I will have to bring back the car within a week’s time, because the central locking function on the key itself is not working.</em></p>
<p><em>On Thursday the 5</em><sup><em>th</em></sup><em> of August I returned to the dealership to have my license plates installed and to get the new key I was promised. I left the car on the premises for a few hours and returned to fetch the vehicle. They have given me the vehicle D*** T*** has been using. Upon return I was informed that they think it is not the key itself, but the VIN ON BOARD COMPUTER device and I should return the car the following week.</em></p>
<p><em>On Tuesday the 10</em><sup><em>th</em></sup><em> of August I took my vehicle back to have them check out the VIN ON BOARD COMPUTER device. I have contacted D***  T*** a few times in the same week to find out what the problem is and he confirmed that the device was not working and that they have ordered a new part and is waiting for delivery in order to install. D*** was not available even though I have made an appointment. I was left in reception until one of his colleagues offered to help me. She signed me out with one of their demo models.</em></p>
<p><em>On Saturday the 28</em><sup><em>th</em></sup><em> of August I have asked a male acquaintance of mine, Mr. G*** to go around to see whether he is more successful than I in getting some answers. In the two weeks that have passed I did not get proper feedback from D***  T***, and every time the same old excuse was given – I will phone you back. When my friend demanded some answers he was also told the VIN ON BOARD COMPUTER device is not functional and should be replaces.</em></p>
<p><em>On Monday the 30</em><sup><em>th</em></sup><em> of August my friend spoke to A***  B***, the Dealership Principal. He assured him that the problem is looked into and that we will receive feedback shortly. Mr. G*** was also informed that  I am not eligible in the 30 day money badk. guarantee as the sale was done prior to this Renault commitment. He was assured that the car will be replaced if I am not 100% satisfied after the return of the S***</em></p>
<p><em>The case was passed down to D*** T*** yet again to sort out, and he contacted me 2</em><sup><em>nd</em></sup><em> or the 3</em><sup><em>rd</em></sup><em> of September informing me that they have replaced the unit and they will test the alarm because it seems that the alarm is interfering with the VIN ON BOARD COMPUTER unit and the central locking system. He made a  snide remark that they are not impressed with Mr. G***&#8217;s comment with regards to the people they have used to install the alarm.</em></p>
<p><em>On Monday the 6</em><sup><em>th</em></sup><em> of September D*** T*** has phoned me to inform me that I can collect my vehicle that same afternoon. They have removed the alarm as they decided after consultation with Renault SA that no S*** model is able to have an alarm fitted. He also assured me that the central locking was fixed.</em></p>
<p><em>Upon my arrival on the same afternoon, D*** was yet again not available. He has left the keys with the same colleague who assisted me the last time he was not in the dealership. I was not escorted to my car and I had to go and look for the vehicle in the parking lot. I tried the central locking and it was still not working. I had to remove the protective plastics myself and as I walked back to throw them away and to talk to anyone about the central locking that is not working, there was no one at reception to help me (PLEASE check the cctv footage). I got into my car and left.</em></p>
<p><em>On Tuesday the 7</em><sup><em>th</em></sup><em> of September I called A***  B***  myself to complain and he informed me that he was told the vehicle is fine and in working order and yet again I was referred back to D*** T***</em></p>
<p><em>I have returned my vehicle on the 8</em><sup><em>th</em></sup><em> of September and D*** promised me he will phone me the next day with an update. I told him I am very upset about not only being able to install an alarm, but the way I have been treated. He just shrugged it off with a that is not the problem right now&#8230;. Let’s fix your car attitude. As I drove off with yet another demo model (Which is disgustingly filthy and smell of cigarette smoke) he promised yet again to contact me with a follow up. This is three working days down the line, and I have not yet received the phone call.</em></p>
<p><em>I would like your assistance in cancelling this sale agreement. I don’t want to wait any longer for a resolution on my problem and I want to be able to get out of the deal. I have been paying for a product that is not in my possession.</em></p>
<p><em>Please let me know what I can do to cancel the sale and go to another dealer. I don’t want to be associated with Renault at all. There has been a breach of trust and if the service I have received afterwards is appalling.</em></p>
<p><em> </em><em>I have been lead to believe the WHOLE product is proudly South African, just to  be informed when the part stopped working that it had to be shipped in from  France??</em></p>
<p><em></em><em>I have been  lead to believe after the sale that Renault SA has told the dealership that NO  alarms are to be fitted in any of the S*** ’s due to the malfunction of the  CPU unit???</em></p>
<p><em></em><em>I have been  lead to believe that my central locking will be in working order once the alarm  has been removed. It has been removed and still no central locking.</em></p>
<p>En dan het hulle nog die vermetelheid om te adverteer as jy nie 100% tevrede met jou kopie is nie, dat jy dit kan terug gee.</p>

<p>Ek dink ek is meer teleurgesteld in die feit dat ek die verkeerde besluit geneem het met die keuse van my kar. Ek het my huiswerk deeglik gedoen en as hierdie maatskappy aangewys is as die motorhandeleer van die jaar&#8230; dan behoort jy mos &#8220;veilig&#8221; te wees in hulle familie? Gmmmfff&#8230;. Dink weer.</p>
<p>Ek het dus van die dealership self af, gekla by Renault SA wat my net weer terug verwys na die dealership. Ek het dus gister die ombudsman nader geroep om in te gryp&#8230; In die twee maande wat ek die motor betaal, het ek die voorreg gehad om net twee weke met die voertuig te ry. TWEE WEKE!</p>
<p>Is ek onredelik?</p>
